Obituary

Anthony Scozzaro – 82 of Whiting, NJ passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Ocean Medical Center on August 29, 2020. Anthony was born on April 19, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from Midwood High School he met his wife Theresa. Anthony was an importer of Italian specialty foods, he was known as the Snail King and a fair and honest businessman. He is predeceased by his parents Salvatore and Vincenza, as well as his son Joseph. Anthony is the beloved husband to his wife Theresa for 59 wonderful years. He is the devoted father to his son Anthony and his wife Jeannine. Anthony is survived by his 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. There were many things in this world that made Anthony happy. Some of which were model trains, flying remote controlled airplanes, and being a scout master. Above all his joys were his family that made him shine brightest. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Anthony will reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Rt. 35, Middletown, NJ 07748 on Wednesday September 3, 2020 from 2 – 4pm & 7 – 9. A service will be held in the Funeral Home Wednesday night at 8pm. Entombment to follow Thursday morning at St. Josephs Cemetery.

Dear Terry, Anthony and Jeannine
We are so sorry to hear of Tony’s passing . He was a dear man with a big heart and smile that will be missed by all. Myself and my family have only pleasant memories of him . Rest In Peace Tony .
