Charles Bell- 72 of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12th, 2020. He was born on November 29th, 1947 in the Bronx, New York.

Charles served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He met his wife Evelyn and they settled in Atlantic Highlands .Charles worked as a store manager for Grand Union and volunteered for Project Paul

Charles is predeceased by his parents Charles and Clair, his sisters Denise and Pat, and his granddaughter Paige. He is the beloved husband of Evelyn for twenty wonderful years. Charles is the devoted father of Chuck, Katie, Jim, and his stepson John. He is the loving brother to Kathy, Michael, Chris, and Susan. Charles is survived by his cherished grandchildren Kayla, Matthew, Justin, Seth, and Xenia. He was also blessed with his great-grandchild Jayden.

Charles enjoyed fishing, reading and loved his family most of all. Charles will be truly missed and never forgotten.

Charles will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home. 1735 Route 35, Middletown, New Jersey 07748 on Monday November 16th, 2020 from 4-8 PM. A prayer service will be offered in the funeral home at 7PM.

WE would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to your families. We met Charlie many years ago at Project Paul while looking for furniture. Charlie was such a dear man... whenever we go walk our dog, Tux we would stop by to see him..and in Charlie's hands were treats for TUX! We will surely miss him. May CHARLIE Rest In Peace. Charley was a valuable member of the Project PAUL Team since January 2012, he ran our furniture business and, helped out on Thanksgiving and Xmass giveaways. All of us at Project PAUL loved Charley and will miss him. RIP my friend, we will miss you.🙏🙏, SAL

Evelyn and family,
Charlie was always so good to my children and myself during the time we worked together. I am truly sorry for your loss. I will keep you and your entire family in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. He was a funny and caring man.

To Evelyn and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Charlies passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I have so many fond memories of him from our Grand Union days. We had fun times. I know he will never be forgotten.
Rest In Peace Charlie.
