Obituary

On May 2, 1954, Dennis “Peni” Steven McCain (Sr.), was born, the youngest of four children born to the late Thomas Otto McCain Sr. and late Margaret McCain of Long Branch New Jersey. Dennis Sr. departed this life on Friday August 7, 2020 at the Hackensack Meridian Health Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, in Shrewsbury New Jersey.

Dennis Sr. was baptized at the Second Baptist Church in Long Branch. He graduated from Long Branch Senior High School, in 1972. After, he attended Brookdale College.

Dennis Sr. worked as an electronics technician with the HECON CORPORATION in Eatontown NJ for many years. He also worked for the KARSON FOOD SERVICE in Neptune NJ. Dennis Sr. leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Dennis Steven Donaldson (Jr), one daughter-in-law, Leena Donaldson and three grandchildren, Kayla, Nasir and Asaad of Lanham Maryland.

Dennis Sr. leaves to mourn their loss, two sisters, Janice L. Whites of Sierra Visa Arizona; and, Deborah C. Mitchell of Forest Park Ohio; one sister-in-law, Rolanda McCain of Long Branch New Jersey; two maternal aunts, Ollie York and Lila Partee; two nieces, Insconcia Mitchell and Jennifer Perry; one nephew, Bishop Ransom; and a host of relatives and friends.
