It is with great sadness that the family of Derrick C. Clauser announces his sudden passing on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at the age of 49. Derrick will be forever lovingly remembered by his wife Lisa, son Jack, parents Craig and Mildred, and brother Anthony.
Derrick was born in Spokane, Washington, but later moved to New Jersey where he spent 21 years working for Continental Airlines. He met his beloved wife Lisa through work and, after being wed, the couple chose to raise their family in Holmdel, NJ, where they lived. Derrick adored his son Jack and the two enjoyed spending precious time together playing lacrosse, going to the beach, riding rollercoasters at Great Adventure, attending concerts, and watching the Seattle Seahawks. Derrick always looked forward to when Jack would pick special books for him to read.
Derrick loved his family tremendously and he will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Derrick will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Rt. 35, Middletown, NJ 07748 on Thursday February 13, 2020 from 2 – 4pm & 7 – 9pm. A prayer service will take place in the Funeral Home Thursday night at 8pm.
In lieu of flowers family will be accepting donations to help them with expenses and to the continued raising of Jack.
