Obituary for Evelyn Benedict
Evelyn Benedict, 76, of Lakewood NJ passed away on March 26th.
Born in Brooklyn NY, Evelyn married the love of her life Howard in 1971. The couple settled in Hazlet NJ where they spent many years before recently moving to Lakewood NJ. Together the couple had one son, Jeff, and were blessed with three grandchildren.
Evelyn is predeceased by her parents, Jack and Helen Bruckner. She is survived by her devoted husband Howard, son Jeff, daughter in law Stephanie, and grandchildren Tyler Benedict, Peyton Benedict, and Ella Benedict.
Evelyn enjoyed romance novels, needlepoint, puzzles, Dunkin Donuts iced coffee, elephants, Stef's meatloaf and chocolate chip pancakes, and above all spending time with family. A devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother who was smart, unselfish, caring, happy, and loving. She was kind to everyone she worked with and met throughout her wonderful long life, and will be missed by all.
