Obituary

James Michael Archinaco passed away peacefully at home on October 6th surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 29, 1946 in Elizabeth, NJ James graduated from Seton Hall University with his Masters in Business Administration. In 1970 he married the love of his life Suzanne and started a new endeavor in Middletown, NJ. In 1984 James moved his family to Holmdel where he resided ever since. He owned and operated Middletown Realty and began his career in commercial appraisals. After suffering a massive stroke in 1994, he unfortunately had to close the business.

James was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Paula Archinaco, his brother Frank Archinaco, his in-laws Joseph and Theresa Ciriaco and brother-in-laws Joseph Ciriaco and Carmen Calella. James leaves behind Suzanne, his wife of 50 years, to cherish his memory. He also leaves behind a son James and wife Robyn, of Howell NJ and daughter Allison and husband Andrew of Aberdeen, NJ. He too leaves behind his most precious joy and loves, his three grandchildren, Christian, Anthony and Isabelle. James also leaves behind two special sister-in-laws Kathryn Ciriaco and Marie Calella, his dear Aunt Vinsie Meier, Cousin Jamie Pavlis and nephew Jason Archinaco and wife Paula. James loved watching his grandsons play their favorite sport of ice hockey and attending his granddaughter Isabelle’s dance recitals. He enjoyed playing cards with the guys at Cedar Village and in Atlantic City. He also looked forward to watching and cheering on his two favorite sports teams, the Seton Hall Pirate basketball team and the NY Yankees.

James will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Rt. 35, Middletown, NJ 07748 on Thursday October 8, 2020 from 4 - 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday October 9, 2020 at 10:30am at St. Catharine Church in Holmdel, NJ. Entombment to follow at Holmdel Cemetery.
