Obituary

John Pozarowski, 65, of Holmdel passed away peacefully on May 16, 2020 with his family by his side at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. John was born on November 21, 1954 in Newark, New Jersey. John graduated from East Side High School in Newark and immediately went into the US Army. John then enlisted in the National Guard where he served for 7 years and finished his tenure there as an MP.

John worked in the insurance business and then went into the pharmaceutical business where he remained for the last 30 plus years. He was a great motivator and ran the sales force in many companies over the years. His sense of humor and selling tactics at sales meetings kept everyone excited about what gimmick he would come up with next for motivating them. John was Vice President for Arya Pharma when he passed. John was also Vice President of the Woodhull Auxiliary Board for Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn NY. John met his wife Barbara and moved from Newark, to Harrison before ultimately settling in Holmdel to raise their family.

John is predeceased by his parents John and Cecilia as well as his sister Linda. He was the beloved husband of Barbara for 46 wonderful years. John is the devoted father of Lisa and her husband Joe who reside in NSW, Australia, John and his wife Laura who reside in Tinton Falls and his son Jason residing in Holmdel. He is survived by his grandchildren Indi, John Alfred, Evelyn and Max. They made his life complete.

John will always be remembered for his tremendous work ethic and his love of football. He was a very devoted family man and he will be tremendously missed by all who knew him. There isn’t anyone in the pharmaceutical business who didn’t know John.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Rt 35 Middletown, New Jersey 07748. In respect of Johns wishes, he will be privately cremated.
