Patricia (Pat, Patty, Patty Ann) Roberts was born on June 6, 1945 in Boston, MA to John Vincent and Rose Marie Hanson. The family settled in Cliffwood, NJ, she attended and graduated from Matawan High School. On June 25, 1966 she married Richard Roberts embarking on a new journey, building beautiful memories, with nearly forty years at their Keansburg, NJ home.

Pat worked as a bank teller in the Newark, NJ area for a few years before giving birth to her daughter, Deborah, then dedicating her life to her family. After relocating to Old Bridge some time later, she was then blessed with a son, Scott. Pat was always worried about everyone else; she always put others before herself. Pat enjoyed baking for her family and friends, some of her specialties were her famous lemon meringue pie, chocolate chip cookies, nut cake, and "patty cake". She loved finding treasures at garage sales, but most importantly she loved spending time with her children, her many nieces and nephews and especially her granddaughter, Allison. Pat had a sweet and loving nature which endeared her to everyone she met.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of nearly 54 years, Richard; daughter Deborah and son-in-law Gregory James, Forks Twp, PA; granddaughter Alison James; son Scott Roberts and fur baby Sox, Middletown, NJ; brothers Charles Hanson and wife Nancy, The Villages, FL; Paul Hanson and wife Mary Ann, Howell, NJ; and sister Rose King, Egg Harbor Twp., NJ. She is predeceased by her parents, and brother, John Michael Hanson, Manalapan, NJ. Patricia was blessed with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and will be remembered always for the kindness she always showed to others.

Patricia will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home1735 Rt 25 Middletown, New Jersey 07748 on Tuesday February 25, 2020 from 10-2pm. Prayer Service will begin at 1pm in the Funeral Home
