Patricia Narine – 88 of Lincroft, NJ passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday January 31, 2020 at Riverview Medical Center. Patricia was born in Trinidad on April 6, 1931. She graduated High School in Trinidad and then met her husband Gopaul Narine while volunteering at the Red Cross. They were married in February of 1959 in Trinidad and began to raise their family while Patricia was a trailblazing Avon saleslady in the 60’s. In 1970 the family immigrated to the United States and bought a house in Brooklyn where she worked as part of the office staff at Maimonides Hospital. Patricia and Gopaul retired to Palm Bay, Florida and then after her husband passed, Patricia lived in Lincroft, New Jersey near her daughter’s family. Patricia is predeceased by her beloved husband Gopaul Narine, as well as many sisters and brothers. She is the devoted mother to Risa Sha and Dr. Nalan Narine, and faithful mother-in-law to Victor Sha and Cynthia Narine. Patricia is survived by her grandchildren Justine Sha, Christian Sha, Sieanna Narine, and Jared Narine. She had many joys in life, some of which were volunteering, crafts, sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, walking, cooking, and baking. Above all her joys, it was her family that made her shine brightest and they loved her very deeply.

Patricia will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home, 1735 Rt. 35, Middletown, NJ 07748 on Sunday February 2, 2020 1 – 5pm. A Service will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 4pm.
