Obituary

Paul Bennett – 65 of Milford, DE passed away on Tuesday February 4, 2020 at CentraState Medical Center. Paul was born on April 24, 1954 in Long Branch, NJ. He graduated from Middletown High School North and raised his family in Belford before residing in Milford Delaware. He married in 1996 to Diane. Paul worked in construction as a project manager to provide for his family. He is predeceased by his parents E. Palmer and Phyllis Bennett. Paul is the beloved husband to Diane for 24 wonderful years. He is the devoted father to Paul Bennett, Leslie Robertson, and Alicia Hartmann. He is the loving brother to Edward Palmer Jr. and Cindy Bennett, Wayne and Lynn Bennett, Diane and Don Kratzer, Judy and Jim Glass, Debbie and Don Riedel, Jennifer DiPaola and Valerie Beck. Paul is survived by his grandchildren Brynn and Hadley Robertson, Briar Bennett, and Alexia and Sophia Morgera. He was fondly known to them as “Pop Pop”. Paul had many joys in life, some of which were the ocean, fishing, travel, beaches, cooking, and especially his family. If anyone ever needed help on a project, Paul was the first person on the job always with the best equipment. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Paul will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Rt. 35, Middletown, NJ 07748 on Saturday February 8, 2020 from 11am – 3pm. A prayer service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday February 8, 2020 at 3pm.
