Stanley Lapinski – 81, of Middletown NJ passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday December 21, 2019 at Riverview Medical Center. Stanley was born on December 14, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from Alexander Hamilton High School Stanley met his wife Vincenza and lived in Brooklyn. They eventually moved to Hazlet, NJ to raise their family before ultimately deciding to settle down in Middletown, NJ. Stanley worked for Verizon Nynex as a manager. Stanley is the beloved husband to Vincenza for 60 wonderful years. He is the devoted father to his four daughters, Laurie and David Seidenberg, Teresa Filiano, Dianne and Charlie Croce, and Joanne and Drew Anzalone. Stanley is survived by his grandchildren David, Danny, Dylan, Tyler, Nicole, Joey, Sal, Charlie, Kim, Anthony, Gina, and Michael. As well as his great grandchildren Ryan, Gianna, and David. He is predeceased by his parents Stanley and Emma, as well as his brother James and son in law Salvatore Filiano. Stanley had many joys in life, some of which were trips to AC, the racetrack, football, and crabbing. Of all his joys it was spending time with his family that made him shine brightest. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Stanley will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Rt. 35, Middletown, NJ 07748 on Friday December 27, 2019 from 4 – 8pm. A Mass of Catholic Burial will take place on Saturday December 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Keyport. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

To Winnie and family, I am very sad to hear of Stan's passing. He was one of my best friends growing up and I was honored to be part of his and your wedding party. The last time we met was in April 2010 at the at Bishop Ford's reunion. May God keep him for all eternity and may he rest in peace.
