Obituary

William “Billy” Lang, 69, of Middletown, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 27th. He was born in Brooklyn, the oldest of 12 children. He served as an Airman for the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He is predeceased by his parents, Rose and Bill, his sister, Rosanne, and his son, Brendan, both victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks of the World Trade Center, and his brother, Matthew. He is survived by his Beloved wife of 50 years, Paula, his son Sean of Spring Lake, his daughter and son-in-law, Meghan and Andrew Deming of Red Bank, his daughter and son-in-law Shanna and Lenny Lewis of Middletown, his eight grandchildren, Haydn Blue, Ainsley Breck, Connor James, Molly Lorene, Leonard Oscar, Cadence Mae, Andrew William, and Liam Brendan, as well as 7 brothers, 2 sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home, Middletown, on Thursday, May 2nd from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm. There will be a mass of Christian burial at St. Mary Mother of God Church, Middletown on Friday, May 3rd at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, hug your family tightly, or do something kind for someone in need.
