Obituary

William E. O’Brien 41 of Red bank passed away suddenly on January 25, 2019. Billy was born on February 15, 1977 in Brooklyn N.Y. After graduating High School Billy went to work for Local 731as a construction laborer and then eventually a foreman. He then met his wife April in 2000 and they were married in June 2004. Billy and April settled in Red bank where they raised their family. The couple welcomed two amazing children in their home and Billy set out teaching them about his love for history, with hardworking and good character. His children Billy and Olivia will remember him as a kind, intelligent, gentle, funny and hardworking father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Billy is the beloved son of Kathleen and Richard. He is the devoted husband of April. He is survived by his children Billy and Olivia. As well as the loving brother of Timothy and his wife Kelly, Joseph and his wife Annmarie, and his sisters Megan and Katieanne.

Billy was an accomplished laborer and known for being a perfectionist to his trade, and generally loved all his coworkers. He enjoyed time with his wife and children Kayaking, fishing and sitting by the fire. He was much loved and will be missed terribly.

Billy will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Rt 35 Middletown, New Jersey 07748 on Monday January 28, 2019 from 4-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday morning at St. Mary s Chapel 26 Leonardville Road in Belford at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Middletown

Billy will be greatly missed. Wow i remember when I was working out of Maspeth's Office and Billy would come in everyday to find out his work place. I would say Good Morning to him and he would motion his head as to say Good Morning, so i said you can at least say Good Morning and from then on he would smile and say Good Morning.
